shooting - it's more fun in the Philippines

Everyone’s talking and raving about The Bourne Legacy.  Excited to see what our country would look like in a Hollywood film. I hope it would generate tourists and I hope the crew will get to experience that it really is more fun in the Philippines. . specially the actors.   It would be really nice to hear a great PR pitch from them =P too bad I didn’t get to see Ed Norton in person.

I remember there’s a French film that was also shot here in Manila and in Cebu.  It’s a comedy film called Le Marquis (click to see the trailer).  Really funny movie – especially if you like Steve Martin.  This is like a French version of “Bowfinger”.

As long as our Hollywood visitors are happy – we don’t mind the crazy traffics caused by the filming of The Bourne Legacy.

1.  there are people who have affairs which are overly analyzed but is light on commitment. it is not love - it's a theory.


2.  there are people who think they're in love and want to marry fast because they don't want to grow old alone.  it is not love, but an agenda.


3.  there are people who think they're in love with the next warm bodied shmuck they could have after a breakup.  it is not love; it's revenge.


4.  there are people who think they're in love because they feel like they can't live without them.  it is not love - it's infatuation.  or  an illusion.


5.  there are people who constantly check out their partner's cellphone or facebook account just because they want to know everything about their partners.  it is definitely not love - it is obsession.


6.  there are people who falls hard for the physique, the aesthetics.  it is not love, it's vanity.  or they're just plain horny. =)


7.  there are people who think they're in love just because their partners pamper them silly and make them feel good all the time.  it is not love - those people are just self-absorbed.  or blood-sucking love vampires who always want to be prioritized.


8.  there are people who think they're in love with their past; mainly because they haven't found their closure yet.  it is not love, they're just in love with the idea of love.

 9.  some think they already love their partners because they reciprocate what's being given to them.  well, maybe it's not love - maybe they just felt obliged.  what's worse, it may be out of pity.


10. there are people who think they're in love just because they feel like there's no one else, or no one's better.  it's not love; it's contentment.
