Many of us are afraid to follow our passions, to pursue what we want most because it means taking risks and even facing failure. But to pursue your passion with all your heart and soul is success in itself.

shooting - it's more fun in the Philippines
Everyone’s talking and raving about The Bourne Legacy. Excited to see what our country would look like in a Hollywood film. I hope it would generate tourists and I hope the crew will get to experience that it really is more fun in the Philippines. . specially the actors. It would be really nice to hear a great PR pitch from them =P too bad I didn’t get to see Ed Norton in person.
I remember there’s a French film that was also shot here in Manila and in Cebu. It’s a comedy film called Le Marquis (click to see the trailer). Really funny movie – especially if you like Steve Martin. This is like a French version of “Bowfinger”.
As long as our Hollywood visitors are happy – we don’t mind the crazy traffics caused by the filming of The Bourne Legacy.

“I don’t know how to give young writers something important to say. And I think if young writers don’t have anything to say they should probably stop writing and go out and live a bit. Go out and get a job and go get their heart broken. Go and see as much of the world as they can. Because that’s the way you get something to say. From seeing enough of the world to have a point of view.” (Neil Gaiman)

only an alpha male..
Before I get to say good-bye, I’d like to let you know I made you a poem last year. It’s short and sweet. No wicked semantics, no rhymes – just me relaying my message clear. It was supposed to be given to you on a post-it but I didn’t get the chance to do it. Oh well here it is:
That’s about it. Better than a hallmark greeting card.
Yihee.
Anyways – goodbye. Only an alpha male could inspire me. And hurt me.

How to "Get Back Up" in 5 Easy Steps
Chasing happiness task number one: listen to Enrique. A LOT.
Chasing happiness task number two: remember your purpose, remember your worth.
Chasing happiness task number three: create a joke out of misery (you’re a writer, you can nail it)
*taken from a wallpost, edited to fit my state
Chasing happiness task number five: close it in / lesson learned (because there is no use wallowing)
Chasing happiness task number two: remember your purpose, remember your worth.
“No wealth in the world can help humanity move forward – even in the hands of the most devoted worker. Only the examples set by great and pure individuals can lead us to noble thoughts and deeds.” (Albert Einstein)
Chasing happiness task number three: create a joke out of misery (you’re a writer, you can nail it)
Chasing happiness task number four: still find the fun out of it – reverse bittering!“When you ran out of my life, I was heartbroken. I was badly hurt for a while but I moved on and I became fine without you. But all of a sudden I saw you staring right back at my face. And everything comes rushing down my spine, making me fall all over you again. And I hate it – and I hate you! You became a part of my life once again – letting you take control over me like before. And I bet it’s gonna stay like this until you ran out again… I hate you so McDonald’s Cadburry McFlurry… I hate you…. Where’s my spoon…."
“It’s better that we didn’t end up together. You know why? I was thinking maybe I’m too much for you and I’d just eat you up alive. Even if you did come up with all your ideals, it just doesn’t manifest in your life. You are still a boy inside, playing around. So goodluck, kiddo.. you go play with your friend, I’ll go have my awesome life.”
“Lesson learned? Oh, I know. It’s never to trust again. I think I got this one right this time. And it’s not just one – after a series of heartbreaks, this lesson will surely stay in my mind. Never again.”

Famous last words:
“And now I’m back to my happy. It’s that easy. No fuss, no frills. Life is short, life is fun. If it ain’t fun, you find a way to make it fun. And don’t depend it on anyone.”

"..stop seeking something more or better or different, and turn your attention inward to awaken the silence that you have."

(Henri J.M. Nouwen)"When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares."
