You know what’s so fascinating about this tree? It stands on its own. It’s perfectly beautiful on its own. Nature made it to stand out in the hill for us to look at and see its beauty but the tree chooses not to glorify it but to shine as a melancholic symbol of sorts.. it makes you feel sad but it makes you feel good at the same time. For the tree reminds us that we are all born alone and we all die alone, but it doesn’t mean we live our lives alone.

He’s been training me, through my subconscious, on how to handle myself when ‘it’ would happen. Because it is inevitable.
And so it did happen. I thought I knew what to do but I don’t.
Nothing really prepares you from not getting hurt.
And so I must now put out the fire from this slow burn love.
